Since 1 Jan. 2007 Aarhus School of Business (ASB) is part of the new University of Aarhus.
Founded in year 1939 ASB is a distinguished international Business School in the second largest city of Denmark. Aarhus id growth center and main town of Jutland. Students and participants of MBA and executive-programs acquire solid entrepreneurship and business competences to create and lead growth enterprises in a global economy.
The development of added value for new and existing organizations requires competences to imagine promising ideas, to transform them into sustainable business models, know how to manage a company, and know how to communicate with other people across linguistic and cultural borders.
ASB offers special courses into entrepreneurship as electives – open to all ASB students and even to qualified students from outside ASB. In such a way ASB bridges traditional borders, and does the same by offering courses in intrapreneurship and change management as well.
The pedagogy and didactics aim at assisting independent self confident students ready to create value out of the complexity of todays business life. ASB is a partner in BEPART with the ideas to come even closer to an entrepreneurial university, to professionalize teaching and learning in entrepreneurship and to developing regional links via effective entrepreneurship promotion.
ASB is a co-founder and member of the Centre for Entrepreneurship (CFE) in Aarhus and of the International Danish Entrepreneurship Academy (IDEA) - launched in January 2005.
Up from Oct. 2007 the International Master for Entrepreneurship Education and Training IMEET will be offered.
